This year marks 10 years since my mother Tereze lost her 5 year battle against cancer. During her battle we were fortunate enough to receive support from Rise Above to assist us with everyday essentials like food, bills and petrol, while our father ultimately left his job to become her full time carer. This commemoration of her life I would love to Fundraise for Rise Above so other families can receive relief as we did. I will be running multiple events throughout the year, 2,466km ran, 254 days and counting running streak as of December 2025. Rise Above have been assisting patients in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region for over 30 years and can only imagine how incredibly difficult it must be to juggle the added costs associated with cancer treatment on top of everyday living.
