Recently, my partner Georgie was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She’s about to begin several months of chemotherapy, and while we know there are some tough times ahead, she’s facing it all with incredible strength, courage and positivity.

One of the things we know chemotherapy will bring is hair loss, the four of us (Arlen, Justin, Corey, Aidan) are choosing to shave our heads alongside Georgie. It’s our small way of standing beside her, in solidarity, showing her that she doesn’t have to face this alone.

We’re also using the opportunity to raise money for a local cancer charity, Rise Above, helping support other people and families in our community who are going through their own cancer journeys.

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean so much to us. Every dollar will go towards supporting people affected by cancer locally.

And if you can’t donate, sharing our fundraiser or simply sending some love and encouragement to Georgie is just as appreciated.

Thank you for supporting Georgie and helping us turn something difficult into something positive.
Cancer isn’t just physically debilitating, it puts added emotional and financial pressure on individuals and their family. Help Rise Above support locals by donating to my fundraising page!
